LEGO 10573 DUPLO Play Creative Animals

I was disappointed to find that though five animals are pictured, only three cards were included: the first had the dog on one side and the worm on the other. Building blocks alone are not as good for imaginative play (go for a set that includes people or animals instead), yet these ones are too specialized to be easily incorporated into a larger collection.

Lego 10573

A great mix of generic and unique pieces. Allows the option to build the animals as pictured, or mix and match to create your own strange creatures!

My only minor complaint is that it comes with cards to show you what each animal looks like, but only 4 of the animals are on the cards (can’t remember now which one was missing).

I don’t think that’s even worth a star reduction though, because those cards aren’t necessary at all.Big bricks are safe for little kids and cute animals make it much more interesting. She has really grown into these and every time she uses them she seems to have better hand eye coordination and digit strength. Fun animals and you can add other duplos to make them larger or just create different animals with the different faces the set comes with!

The four year old really likes the animals and likes the puzzles and the two year old likes me to make the puzzles so she can play with them. Incredibly easy to use, got them for my two year old and she absolutely loves them. They became a learning tool for identifying different animals.

Toy was exactly as pictured, brand new and shipped promptly. Then get ready to embark with them on a world of unending play possibilities. She absolutely loves and has configured every way possible. It can incorporate colour recognition, fine motor skills and knowledge of animals. She enjoys taking them apart and putting the pieces together. This is a very safe toy for her to play with. The pieces are the perfect size for her hands and she can explore many configurations. He doesn’t want to play with toys for his eye range, because he wants to be just like his two older brothers. This is the perfect toy that is age appropriate for him, yet it’s a “big boy” toy too.
