LEGO 2015 Advent Calendar: BrickLink

It was very smart to print them on the backside of each door. He was so excited every night to open the next day.

Once you open a compartment, it can be difficult to put a piece back in the compartment because it falls into another day. Keep in mind the items it builds are very small.

We leave the box set up at one side of our dining table. He loved putting together each day’s project and loved the finished project. My 11 year old bounds down the stairs each morning to discover which lego creation he gets to put together that day. As the days progress the scene starts to develop. Every piece was delightful, and was simple enough for my son to construct on his own. The box itself is also well-built, enough to stay intact all month long (in fact we intend to keep them so we can retain the scene and collect as many in the series in the coming years). This building set contains the pieces and instructions required to complete the pictured project. The set is an approachable size, with a total of 292 pieces to allow for plenty of imagination without overwhelming new builders.

He was and is so excited over the calendar and could not just open one day but four at a time. It is so hard for him to wait for the last day to see who or what it reveals. Everything about this product shouts creactivity for the kid that puts all of it to good use.
