The working carriages are shark-themed and the ride’s main drop has a water splash feature and a cannon that fires water elements. Hold tight as you whizz around the bend and over the sunken galleon.
Watch out for the water cannon and remember to smile as you thunder past the camera!
I can’t believe how smoothly the train runs on the track, it’s brilliant. Then the pirate/sea-themed track is revealed, and it’s amazing.
I didn’t pay enough attention to from the online pictures. All three train carts come together as a shark!
This set is a great addition to any theme park, and looks cool on display. The minifigures are all nice additions, especially the pirate. My son managed to do around 90% of the build with me finding him the pieces and helping him along which was really enjoyable for us both.
We have yet to build either of the alternative models but the set is worth it for the main build alone. The working carriages are shark-themed and the rides main drop has a water splash feature and a cannon that fires water elements.
Lego Creator Pirate Roller Coaster Review!
Includes 4 minifigures, ready for the fun of the fairground, plus a skeleton figure. Fully functional roller coaster features an oval track and train with shark carriages. Also features a cannon that fires water elements, a ticket booth and a balloon stand.
I never expected it to take that much area and turned out bigger than expected.
You also need to push a bit from the skull head so that the cars don’t stop before going to the dip.
I also wish the alternate builds used up more bricks. There’s also one brick that was warped (see picture). Christmas, it’s grand daddy, the creator expert roller coaster. A very attractive large pirate fort, pirate ship, and underwater creature. Especially matched with white, grey, beige and brown. Aside from that colour critique i really enjoyed building and rebuilding all 3 of these fairground rides. We’ve done all 3 at least twice and the kids are able to play with them for a reasonably long time before something comes apart. There’s a lot of nice aesthetic touches like the octopus and skull motifs, little parrots that you make yourself and the ticket entry turnstiles. The figures can either be smiling or grimacing/screaming with a rotation of the head. The second and third build use less than half of the bricks so there’s plenty to be creative with which is the feature my kids prefer.
I can’t believe how smoothly the train runs on the track, it’s brilliant. First thing i noticed i the shop was the weight. Took me 1hr to sort out up all pcs and then it was a joyride all the way.
I have lots of parts so think it will do it. Not much for modding but this one woke up the kid in me.
I liked how this one could be made into 3 different builds.
